Study Shows Overeating Bad for Memory

A recent study from the Mayo Clinic shows that overeating can double the risk for memory in adult over 70. Researchers concluded cognitive function has a strong correlation to cardiovascular health, and higher calorie intake per day leads to higher risk of mild cognitive impairment. Dr. Yonas Geda, the author of the study, says, “cutting calories and eating food that make up a healthy diet may be a simpler way to prevent memory loss as we age.”
