Governor Kasich Works to Help Elderly Accept Changes

Gov. John Kasich will launch a charm offensive to change how Ohioans view aging, from convincing senior citizens who need them to accept walkers to getting college students to drive elders who can’t drive themselves.

Columbus’s aging population will become increasingly prominent in the coming future as medicare and medicade prices soar and senior citizens become a larger demographic. Governor Kasich continues to work with senior groups such as the Alzheimer’s Association to find solutions for the elderly to maintain independence in their homes while staying safe.
