Elder Minds Can Keep Pace with Young

Recent studies conducted at the Ohio State University have shown that brains don’t necessarily slow down with age when it comes to decision making and response times. Research suggests that perceived slowing of elderly minds is due to a conscious choice of accuracy over speed, and in fact, psychologist determined that a 70-year-old could have the same brain-processing speed as a 25-year-old.
